We will be honored to welcome Thomas Sterner , Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of Gothenburg and head of the Chair “Sustainable Development : Environment, Energy and Society” at College de France in 2015/2016. His intervention , “Experiences and Perspectives of carbon taxation in the world” , will focus on the history of the carbon tax introduced in Sweden in 1991 and potential distributional effects of a global carbon tax following the COP21 .
