Title: La fin de l’eau?

Abstract: Fayard, 306 pages (Winner of the Lucien Dupont Prize from the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, the Sustainable Development Prize from the Cercle Turgot, and the Best Management Essay Prize from FNEGE). Around the world, social tensions related to access to water are becoming increasingly evident. Until the 2022 drought, water rarely made headlines. Yet, water management must be recognized as one of the most critical issues. From pricing policies to the reuse of treated wastewater, and the renovation of distribution networks, this book outlines the urgent actions that must be taken before the ongoing changes in the water cycle lead to catastrophic consequences.
