“Digital sobriety certificates as an instrument for regulating digital pollution” co-written with Lise Péragin (M2 EEET Paris-Saclay)
Abstract
The objective of this article is to study digital pollution and to question the possibility of establishing certificates of digital sobriety which would aim to promote investments or changes in practices in terms of digital sobriety. This project is inspired by the concept of energy saving certificates which have been implemented in several European countries. The principle would be to implement obligations relating to certain digital players in order to make investments in digital sobriety.
